Welcome

Avoch and Killen townships represent both the Fishing and Farming traditons here in the heart of the Black Isle between Munlochy and Fortrose and only 18 miles from the City of Inverness.

The immediate local area is a source of diverse and outstanding natural beauty as many visitors and residents will agree.

The role of our Community Council is to represent the issues and concerns of the people who live here but also to inform, support and promote where possible initiatives from business, groups, clubs and individuals which could have a benefit to our community.

We hope as this site develops that it will act as  a focus for information, local stories, pictures and as a tool for you to have your say.
